Magnatone Builds Another Custom Backline for Billy F Gibbons

Six heads and six cabinets in amazing Silver Croc finish

St. Louis, MO – May 31, 2023 – (GUITARpr) – Magnatone has just announced the completion of another custom backline for Billy F Gibbons. This unique build consists of six custom Super Fifty-Nine M-80 45-watt tube heads and six 4×12 cabinets covered in Magnatone’s amazing Silver Croc finish.

These amps were built especially for Billy’s upcoming UK tour which runs from June 6th through July 16th across Europe. Once the tour is finished, the amps will be hand signed by Billy and shipped to Magnatone Dealers in Europe, who pre-ordered these exclusive amplifiers.

This also marks the first time Magnatone has built a 4×12 cabinet and their first collaboration with Celestion Speakers using their 65-watt Creambacks throughout.

According to Magnatone General Manager, Rod Washburn, “These amps are proudly made in the USA by our team of skilled builders and once again, Magnatone displays its talent and flexibility in creating these special custom products for the benefit of our artists, dealers and customers alike.”
