When You Need More than Just a Press Release

We created the original GUITARpr Structured Press Release platform about 9 years ago. I was frustrated dealing with the big, self-serve release sites like PR Newswire, Business Wire, etc. I was only interested in guitar-related markets, which I wasn’t hitting well with the big guys. So, I decided to build our own dedicated platform from scratch that would focus only on those markets. And so it was.

Some aspects of the platform didn’t work as planned early on, mainly the self-serve aspect. That part of it was pretty much a bust, and after a year, we scrapped it and focused on what was working. And that was the hybrid, full-service press release program we’ve offered ever since. And as you can imagine, that, too, has evolved in small increments over the last 8 years.

Now, I’m happy to announce the latest upgrade to our program, the Press Release Plus. We’ve always offered a more in-depth service than just shipping out releases in high volume. That’s just not what we do. We deliver a branded service. Our brand is behind everything we do. Our primary interest is the success of our clients. The more of that we can accomplish, the more successful we are.

As we’ve expanded the scope of our program, I felt it was time to rebrand the service and update the offerings to clearly delineate what our clients get for their money. As such, I’m still quite comfortable in saying that nobody does what we do the way we do it for the price we charge. It’s always been affordable, and even with these recent upgrades, we didn’t raise the prices.
