FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Magnatone Announces Management Changes to Build For Future Growth and Innovation

St. Louis, MO – August 27, 2024 – (GUITARpr) – Magnatone USA, a globally recognized manufacturer of boutique guitar amplifiers made in the USA, is excited to announce new management roles within the company to better address increasing demand within its dealer network and customers.

General Manager and Worldwide Sales Director, Rod Washburn, will be leaving the company to work for Lyon & Healy, a Chicago-based manufacture of orchestral harps, and will handle all of their distributed brands including Paoletti, Chapman and Magneto guitar lines.

“I’ve really enjoyed being part of the Magnatone family,” says Washburn. “We’ve made some great strides these past five years – creating and solidifying key relationships with our dealers and their customers, as well as building strong ties to our Magnatone artists.” Ted Kornblum, Magnatone President and CEO, says, “Rod has been an integral part of our steady growth, and we wish him all the best.”

Kornblum resurrected the Magnatone brand eleven years ago and has been steering its success since it went out of business over 30 years ago. Kornblum will assume the interim role of Worldwide Sales Director and Artist Relations – a role he held early on with the company. “My highest priorities are to continue delivering best-in-class service and remaining close to our dealers, consumers and artists,” says Kornblum.
