Aguilar Amplification is about to release the AGRO® bass overdrive pedal, which will be the newest addition to their family of effects for bassists. The AGRO® is based on the saturation channel of Aguilar’s AG 500 bass head. Capable of producing everything from warm, tube-like overdrive to full on distortion, this pedal will offer the grind you need without sucking out your low end.

The AGRO® offers a wealth of overdriven sounds within an easy to use, 4-knob layout. The saturation control offers a tremendous range of distortion while the contour control allows you to dial in a scooped or a more aggressive, boosted midrange sound. The presence knob adds the right amount of ‘attack’ ensuring that your bass remains defined even with the most saturated settings. The output level control guarantees that you’ll be able to get the distortion you want at any volume level.

The Midas from MythFX is a boost pedal that provides up to 32dB of CLEAN, transparent, full frequency boost, all in a compact enclosure that saves precious pedalboard space.  An internal voltage boost circuit provides a massive amount of headroom while operating the pedal on a standard 9V AC adapter. The high impedance input preserves your picking dynamics, and will not color your tone.

The Midas will allow your guitar to cut through any mix, boost long effects chains, compensate for different guitar pickups, and push your amp to the edge of distortion and beyond.

By incorporating premium components such as high tolerance film capacitors and professional engineering design practices, the Midas achieves high gain without excessive noise.  The pedal requires a standard 9V DC, 2.1mm Negative tip power adapter (not included).
