Aguilar Amplification, the manufacturer of bass amplifiers, speaker cabinets and accessories is proud to announce the appointment of Dave Avenius to the position of CEO.
Avenius has a long history at Aguilar, starting as West Coast Regional Sales Manager in 2000 before moving to Aguilar's New York City headquarters in 2002. Since then, Avenius has managed artist relations and sales and marketing for the company, most recently serving as chief of operations.
Owner and current CEO Dave Boonshoft will continue at Aguilar in the capacity of President and CFO. "2008 was our best year ever", reports Boonshoft, "Dave Avenius has been instrumental in our recent growth and he has the knowledge and leadership abilities to bring Aguilar to a new level of prominence in the marketplace.
